With the opening of the Altes Museum in 1830, historically significant collections became accessible to the public for the first time. In around 100 years, five museums will be built on the area. Berlin's Museum Island has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.

Important information

It is recommended to wear a FFP2 or medical face mask in all indoor areas of the museums.

Please note that the tickets can not be canceled. The reduced-price ticket can be used by pupils, students (with valid student ID and duration of validity), persons doing military or civilian service, or unemployed and disabled persons (at least 50 % GdB) on presentation of the relevant ID.

Ticket owners: A free time-slot ticket for each museum is also required.
