Experience the spirit of Woodstock: an extensive exhibition by Elliott Landy

Peace, Love & Unity: Due to the current world situation, the values of Woodstock are still relevant in 2022. The three-day Woodstock Festival is regarded as the "mother of all festivals" and, like no other musical event, over the years it has become the symbol of a counterculture that stands for anti-militarism, for equal rights for women, Black people and homosexuals as well as for artistic and sexual liberation.

Love, Peace & Music: In August 1969, almost 500,000 people experienced an adventure together for three days, marking a turning point in history. Woodstock has become a symbol of the possibility of a peaceful and respectful coexistence. This collective will was accompanied and expressed on these three special days by numerous bands and artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who or Joe Cocker.

Experience a journey through time and discover 160 of the most famous snapshots.

Relive the spirit of the Woodstock festival in 1969 with Elliott Landy's comprehensive photographic collection. The photographer was one of the first artistically accredited photographers allowed to shoot on stage during the festival, and he was also one of the few to capture the dream of Woodstock with his impressive images. His magnificent illustrated works still impressively capture the spirit of an entire generation.

Gods of Rock: Large-scale Photo Installations - Up-close Portraits

One of the highlights of the exhibition are the metre-high portraits which show the "Gods of Rock".
