For more than 28 years, the Berlin Wall divided the city into East and West, perhaps making it the most recognizable symbol of the Cold War.

The modern multimedia museum in a former mill storehouse allows visitors to experience and to retrace history with its innovative audio and video installations. Exciting interviews with contemporary witnesses and politicians - such as Helmut Kohl and Mikhail Gorbachev - make the historical events tangible. 

In addition, original wall elements from 1961 as well as a reconstructed East German living room in its typical appearance at the time the Wall was built are part of this impressive exhibition.
