Hannah Arendt and the Twentieth Century - an exhibition at Deutsches Historisches Museum Berlin

Beginning on 27 March 2020, the Deutsches Historisches Museum shows the exhibition ‘Hannah Arendt and the Twentieth century’, which centres on Arendt as an intellectual and political theorist. The exhibition presents a life and oeuvre that reflects the history of the twentieth century
together with the questions that it asks of us today.

The exhibition "Hannah Arendt and the 20th century" shows you a century of many different facets: totalitarianism, the situation of refugees, the Adenauer era, the Eichmann trial, racial segregation in the USA, Zionism, the Cold War and the nuclear threat, feminism, the student movement. The exhibition focuses on Hannah Arendt's position on these issues.
