A collection of German and Italian painting from the 13th to 16th centuries or Low Countries painting from the 15th to 17th centuries. Admire, study and explore the impressive collection of 1,000 masterpieces and 400 pictures in the study gallery of the Gemäldegalerie at the Kulturforum.

Woodcut-Like? Twenty-Three Woodcuts from Four Centuries

In cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin, the Gemäldegalerie presents woodcuts from the 15th to the 20th century, showing that thanks to the artists' technical skills, creativity, and willingness to experiment the medium does not need to conform to clichéd notions.

Tue–Fri:  10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sat,Sun: 11 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Important information

It is recommended to wear a FFP2 or medical face mask in all indoor areas of the museums.

Children and young people under the age of 18 are admitted free of charge. Please note that tickets cannot be cancelled.
