Description

Nobody has any intention of building a wall! And yet, it came - and divided Germany. In what is now a UNESCO World Heritage site, history was made during the Potsdam Conference. The former border fortifications once shaped the cityscape on the outskirts of Potsdam. This guided tour takes you on a fascinating journey through Cold War-era Potsdam. You will hear moving stories of border crossers and secret agents. The route leads from Glienicke Bridge, the „Bridge of Spies”, along the former inner- German border to the checkpoint at Bertini-Enge.
