Visite de Berlin sous le nazisme (FRA) Schüler / Student

Description
Follow the traces of Nazi Berlin on this French-language tour, which explores the rise of the regime, the machinery of persecution, and remembrance of its victims—particularly the Jewish community of Berlin. From Potsdamer Platz to Hackescher Markt, you will discover important but often overlooked memorials that help make sense of this dark chapter in German history.
Your guide will introduce you to places such as the memorial to Varian Fry, who helped thousands escape Nazi-occupied Europe; the former T4 command centre, where the Nazis planned the systematic murder of people with disabilities; and the German Resistance Memorial, from where the July 20th plot against Hitler was coordinated. Along the way, the city’s ruins offer a powerful reminder of the final battles and the fall of the Nazi regime in May 1945.
In the former Jewish quarter, you’ll explore hidden courtyards and historically rich sites: the Otto Weidt workshop, Stolpersteine (memorial cobblestones), the former Jewish school and cemetery, and the New Synagogue. This walk also invites reflection on the role of the so-called “bystanders” and honours those who showed civil courage. A moving and thought-provoking tour that offers a deeper understanding of Berlin through memory and remembrance.
